8-Week Yoga Series for Neurological Health

In this 8-week series, we'll explore and practice yoga’s traditional mind-body healing techniques as an alternative and complementary therapy for neurological disorders. Research has shown that yoga can benefit individuals with conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, peripheral nervous system disease, concussion, fibromyalgia, and more.

Beyond the physical aspects of yoga, participants will also learn yogic principles for life management, offering tools to ease daily struggles and improve overall well-being

Each week, we explore the science behind neuromuscular disorders—how they impact the nerves that control voluntary muscles, sensory functions, and overall well-being. While physical symptoms are often the focus, these conditions affect every aspect of life—emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Research shows that a holistic understanding can empower individuals to manage their condition more effectively.

For those living with neurological diseases or brain injuries, adjusting to new challenges can feel overwhelming. This program offers a supportive, science-informed approach to yoga, helping you cultivate resilience, strength, and a sense of control.

We follow a structured flow—centering, warm-ups, guided movement, breathwork, and deep relaxation—creating a seamless mind-body experience. You’ll also explore mantras, mudras, and meditation, helping to integrate yogic principles into everyday life.

Beyond the physical practice of yoga, participants will explore powerful yogic principles for life management, gaining practical tools to navigate daily challenges with ease and enhance overall well-being. More than just a class, this is a supportive space for sharing experiences, inspiring one another, and discovering creative solutions— all in a fun and uplifting way!
